Set up Buddy Chat - Step 2: Create a Buddy

Click on "Buddy Chat" in the left-hand navigation bar.

A menu bar with sub-items will open underneath:
First click on "Buddies" in the menu bar.

Here you can create your first buddy, technically called a "buddy chatbot instance".

Click on the "Create" button at the top right; a dialogue window will open with the term "Create a new Buddy Chatbot instance".

Enter a name for your buddy in the text input field and click on "Save".

Your newly created buddy will now appear under the heading "Instances".

Click on the name of your buddy visible in the list. A window will now appear that allows you to manage all the buddy settings.
